Human Chain Foundation Inc and The Foundation for Social Inclusion Inc have become a merged organisation of people committed to inclusive vision, principles, and values in keeping with those of the Foundation for Social Inclusion over its thirteen year history. The formal date for this changeover being May 2014, with compliance requirements having been completed at the organisation's first General Meeting held in October 2014.

This website will be undergoing transformation over the coming months to reflect a re-birthed organisation and identity, under the banner of Human Chain Foundation. Structural changes and information on plans will be shared in due course: a new board, updated objectives, breadth of activity with three distinctive focus areas being:

Family Institute for Leadership and Legacy

Incorporating Steppin' Stones (Parent to Parent) is committed to individuals and families taking lead roles in their lives and in their communities through an educative process.

Family Ties

Reflecting alliances and partnerships in working together with other groups/organisations with whom we have synergy in values, vision and goals, to strengthen the family voice.

The Round Table

The theme 'Dignity and Justice', was adopted in a desire to unite disability and the wider community in promoting the positive message of inclusion across society. The first event was held on 3rd December 2008, subsequently meeting annually where possible, bringing together professional people from different walks of life engaged in, working in, and/or passionate about inclusion. Distinguished guests present a paper which is followed by open conversation around the dinner table.

You are welcome to visit the existing information, historical in areas albeit still reflecting our commitment to an inclusive society. We look forward to welcoming you to our merged organisation website in due course, a fusion of Human Chain Foundation and the Foundation for Social Inclusion, and to sharing with you plans for renewal under the three key focus areas above.

With best wishes from the Board of Human Chain Foundation:
Jane Browne Eacott; Paul Cain; Helen Cairns; Ron Eacott; Margaret McGuinness; Finola O'Doherty; May Poon.
